Moments that tell the story.
Being the son of a wedding photographer meant an abundance of early lessons and opportunities. After my first foray into the fast-food world, I decided I’d rather make a run at “the wedding thing.”
I decided early on that the traditional posed photography of the era was incredibly boring and soulless. After studying the great wedding photojournalist Dennis Reggie, I decided this story-based style of candid photography was my passion.
I approach each assignment with a child-like sense of wonder and tell each story through a collection of timeless moments. In 2008, I was named the top wedding photojournalist among a litany of other awards and honors.
